CHRISTMAS TREES & STORE
AGAIN THIS YEAR: For families NOT cutting a tree a $5/person Farm Visit Fee will be charged on weekends only starting Nov 17. (Due to the stress on our parking spaces & for using our complimentary wagon rides)
In order to ensure we have parking for our tree customers, we kindly ask that if you are coming to the farm for a visit and NOT to cut a tree please avoid the Dec 1-2 weekend.
Our 176 acre farm offers beautiful “cut your own” or “pre-cut” trees….both Balsam Fir and Fraser Fir. Wind your way through the farm along our scenic laneway for almost 3 kms over rolling hills. Enjoy the view!
Tractor drawn wagon rides runs on all weekends taking you out to the harvest field. On the weekends we have our Clydesdale Horses to visit with and our bonfire is roaring.
Food is by THE ROCKTON LIONS CLUB & DORA'S EXPRESS. Both are operating the following weekends: November 24/25 & December 1/2/8/9
CHRISTMAS STORE: Visit our rustic Christmas Store filled with unique items.
- Pine boughs, wreathes, inserts and garland.
- Free tree drilling, shaking and baling borrow one of our saws
- No chainsaws please!
- Dogs are welcome on a leash. Please don't let Fido sign someone else's tree
TIPS & TRICKS:
TIP: The first weekend in December can be busy. The best weekend (in our opinion) is the last weekend in November. It’s not as busy and the harvest field is untouched. Your tree is OK to sit outside if you don’t want to bring it in just yet. Just give it a fresh cut when you do bring it in.
TIP: If you are going to hike out and back from the field bring a tarp to put your tree on and then drag the tree back on the tarp. You and a helper can each grab a corner of the tarp.
TIP: Don’t let your tree go dry! Don’t let the water level in your bowl go below the bottom of the tree trunk. It will be thirsty for the first few days then start to drink less.
MERRY FARMS looks forward to providing you with a memorable family experience!
